Happy Customers

"Kelly enlarged Marabelle for me to give to my hubby for his birthday. I just loved the way the blue color of the old boat popped...Kelly was great to work with every step of the way. I'm very pleased with the results." - Marcia McVicker Stubbs, customer, Eastern Shore Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival, November 2025

“Got my picture, hanging on the wall in the foyer. Looks great, thanks for everything...I am still getting compliments on your pictures. There is always room for one more." - Roy McKinney - customer, Eastern Shore Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival

“I plan on hanging my image in my sunroom. It’s nice to see a variety of my favorite subjects, lighthouses. I’m happy to see a family business and would highly recommend it.”

Self Taught Photographer Mat Cutter

I’ve spent my life as a middle school social studies teacher. While teaching has been my lifelong career, photography brings me great joy.  Only after being strongly encouraged by my friends and loved ones, did I actually “do something” with my photography, and I am delighted that you’ve found me and my images. My greatest hope is that you see the same beauty I did when I looked through my lens.

My rock, my love, my hubby "Maintenance & Logistics"

My high school sweetheart and my world. I don’t know what I would do without him. Donnie makes my crazy ideas possible and is the “fixer, upgrader, and figuring outer” of all things that make my little photography business go. He keeps my van ready to go for arts festivals, upgrades her when he can, and figures out ways to make my display ideas come to life. Here at home, he keeps my shack, a two-car, but slightly junked up garage where I do my framing, well lit, heated during the colder times of the year, and weatherproof. We’ve been through a lot together and I am grateful to have had him by my side.

"Biggest Fan & Supporter"

What is there to say? You only get one mom, and I hit the jackpot. She is my very best friend, travel partner, creative sounding board, and general partner in crime. We spend a lot of time together, and if you know me, you know her. She is with me for every arts festival I attend and if you’ve met us at one of these events, it is likely that you’ve spoken to her. Mom is my biggest supporter and is always looking for ways to make things easier for me. I love her to the moon and back.

"HR"

Delphine joined our team in November of 2023 and was immediately thrust into her position as the head of the HR department. Having had a rough start at life, abandoned in an apartment without food and water and on the verge of starvation, she was rescued by animal welfare and nursed back to health for nearly a month before coming to “work” for us. We knew she was built tough and could endure hard things, so the HR department was the place for her. She clearly runs this place and is the boss of all of us, but is particularly hard on “Maintenance & Logistics.” Given the proper allocation of belly rubs and treats, HR works hard.

"Artist of the Month"

Beginning Saturday, April 25, 2026

I am honored to be returning to Legal Grounds this year as May’s “Artist of the Month.” Images and notecards will go on exhibit and up for sale on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 and will remain in place through the month of May.

This little café has a menu full of delicious things to eat and drink and is a favorite of local artists, as they offer us a commission free place to show and sell our work.

Please pop in for a bite to eat and to take a look at my photography. I’d be honored if you spent a little time with my images and deeply appreciative of your patronage.
